142 Squadron - does anyone know of any books or photos of 1941-42 period or an association? Researching history of Wellington Z1206 that flew from Grimsby & was recovered from the Isle of Lewis in 2002. 

104 OTU - were you there in 1943-44? Wellington Z1206 was lost while with 104 OTU in January 1944. 

Does anybody recall the excavations at Kingston Seymour near Clevedon, Somerset, in the 1980's (?), of the Miles M.25 Martinet tow-tug that crashed there in 1943?

Information appreciated on the recoveries in the mid to late 1980s of Spitfires P9785 and R6897. P9785 was issued to No 504 Sqdn based at Peterhead on 10-10-43 but was destroyed in a head on collision with BL887 on 28-12-43 and crashed nr Hatton, Aberdeen. R6897 was issued to No 411 Sqdn based at Digby but was destroyed on 20-11-42 following an air collision with AB847 near Alby, Lincs.
